Helen nippers, of standard size with fine blades, are specially designed to eliminate the delicate edges of dead skin from fingers and toes. It's crucial to avoid cutting the live skin surrounding the nail bed.
For removing excess non-living tissue, carefully position the nippers just above the hangnail's attachment point to the skin and make a careful single nip. Never tug on the skin if it doesn't detach immediately. If used correctly, there should never be any pain or bloodshed.
Prior to using Helen on a client, always practice on yourself first. Remember, she comes with sharp edges, so always remember to replace the protective cap.
