Ensuring Compliance with UK Advertising Laws & ASA Regulations

1. Transparency & Disclosure

  • All promotional content must clearly disclose the commercial relationship with Navy Professional.
  • Use #Ad or #Gifted in a clear and prominent way in social media posts, stories, and videos.
  • Disclosures must not be hidden in captions, comments, or at the end of long posts— they must be visible upfront.

2. Honest & Accurate Representation

  • All statements about Navy Professional products must be truthful, not misleading, and substantiated (e.g., claims about performance or benefits).
  • You must not make false or exaggerated claims that could mislead consumers.
  • Personal testimonials must reflect genuine experiences and not misrepresent results.

3. Compliance with ASA & CMA Regulations

  • Follow ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines and CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) rules when creating content.
  • Avoid misleading pricing, promotions, or “limited-time” claims unless they are factual.
  • If you are unsure whether content complies, consult Navy Professional before posting.

4. Content & Brand Representation

  • Affiliates must maintain a professional and brand-aligned image when representing Navy Professional.
  • Any collaborations or giveaways must be approved by Navy Professional in advance.
  • Content should reflect high-quality, clear imagery that aligns with the brand aesthetic.

5. Respect for Intellectual Property

  • Do not alter or misuse Navy Professional branding, logos, or trademarks.
  • Do not claim ownership of brand assets, imagery, or marketing materials.

6. Ethical & Responsible Marketing

  • Do not promote Navy Professional alongside content that includes hate speech, discrimination, explicit material, or anything that could damage the brand's reputation.
  • Avoid making health or medical claims unless they are scientifically backed and approved.

7. Contractual & Payment Terms

  • Payment and commission structures (where applicable) will be outlined in affiliate agreements.
  • Any breach of these guidelines may result in termination of the affiliate relationship.
  • Please ensure you upload your payemnt details to avoid any delayed payments, this can be found in your dashboard under Settings. 

8. Reporting & Accountability

  • If you see misleading claims or non-compliance among fellow affiliates, report them to Navy Professional.
  • Keep records of promotions in case of an ASA investigation.

9. Consequences for Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the following actions:

  • First Warning: A written notice outlining the breach and required corrective action.
  • Second Warning: Temporary suspension from the affiliate program, with the opportunity to rectify non-compliance.
  • Final Action: Permanent removal from the Navy Professional affiliate program, loss of commission or pending payments, and potential reporting to regulatory bodies if necessary.
  • Navy Professional reserves the right to terminate any affiliate partnership immediately for serious breaches, such as false advertising, failure to disclose paid promotions, or damaging the brand’s reputation.

By participating as an affiliate, you agree to uphold these guidelines and ensure compliance with UK laws and ASA regulations.
